Homegrown Fruits & Vegetables

Aloha Everyone,

My Mother has a large tomato plant. I call it a bush because from one small tomato plant she acquired from a nursery, it has grown to an unruly bush with thorny vines nearly blocking the path of the northern side of her backyard. The upside is that this bush allows her to harvest 1 to 2 dozens tiny grape tomatoes on a daily basis. They are so delicious that it melts in your mouth, far better than eating a candy.

Today, my meal consisted of tomatoes, grapes and pumpkin from my Mother's garden. Added to this medley of fresh fruits were figs from my sister's garden and bitter melon which one of my Mother's friends dropped off. Yes, when staying with my Mother, it is easy to eat healthy and organic.
