YogaFest at Weber State University

Aloha Everyone,

Happiness is bring able to practice yoga on the mat in an indoor studio. When I read about the 2-days YogaFest to raise funds for a shelter, I could not pass this opportunity.

Weber State University is a public accredited university located in Ogden, Utah. The university campus is beautiful and school's Wild Cat Center has facilities students would love to spend their time in.

The cost to attend the 2-days YogaFest is $25 online and $20 in person. I believed they offer 5 different sessions of hour and a half each. I paid $15 which allowed me to attend all the classes today. The session I attended had 3 different classes you can choose from. I chose Slow Flow taught by Allison Berlin. (I will write about Slow Flow yoga in my yoga and meditation blog.)

Here is Allison.

Hunan Village located in Brigham City near our RV park is where we had our late lunch. Hunan style of cooking is spicy.

Our starter, Sweet and Sour Soup was authentic and excellent. The only compromise for their clientele was that they placed 4 small packets of saltine crackers around the soup bowl.

The vegetarian spring roll was good.

And our main course of Honey Grazed Shrimps with walnuts served with white steamed rice was very satisfactory.

Pumpkins and more pumpkins. They are everywhere, cheerfully announcing autumn.

J.J. and I plan to enjoy fresh seasonal fruits that are plentiful this time of the year.

It's nearly 5:00 pm Mountain Time.  It is 66 degrees Fahrenheit and expected to go down to 44 degrees over night. I will practice more yoga - -- yeah I'm on the roll --- then practice juggling before taking a shower.

Have a restful Sunday!

Aloha -- Cathi
