From PA to Ohio to Indiana

Aloha Everyone,

By 7:30 am, J.J. and I were on the road. Ohio interstates 80 & 90 are toll roads requiring the use of our transponder. The two of us enjoyed the tapestries of hues in greens and browns interspersed with fruits orchards and farm fields. It was typical Midwest scenery.

We stopped for lunch at a rest stop in Brady. The complex had Burger King, Sbarro where J.J. purchased a pizza slice and Starbucks. Additional amenities included tourist booth with maps and brochures plus very clean restrooms.

But what impressed us was the RV parking area at the rest stop equipped with electric hook ups, drinking water and dump station. The electrical boxes were numbered so we figured that you pay if you use it. It is a great idea to be able to stay overnight on state highway if one is pressed for time and needs to sleep for a few hours.

After driving 370 miles today, we are happy to have arrived in Huntington, Indiana. Honu's home for tonight is a beautiful water frontage site at Camp Timber Lake.

Al was very helpful in getting us settled and offering us a premium site.
