Introducing My New Flat Granddaughter 8.0 Edition

Aloha Everyone,

Some of you may have noticed that occasionally a cardboard figure of a little girl appears in my photos. It is our Flat Granddaughter.

"Flat Stanley" is a classic children's book written by Jeff  Brown in 1964. The story's main character, Stanley, wakes up one morning as a two dimensional self. What follows is the adventures of Flat Stanley.

When our granddaughter was in the nursery school, one of the class project was to make a cardboard of flat self.  We expanded the concept further and J.J. and I have been taking her with us on our adventures.

Prior to leaving La Jolla, my granddaughter and I made two cardboard figures. One for me to take along and the second, Flat FarMor which our granddaughter will take along on her own adventure.

So without further ado, here is my new Flat Granddaughter 8.0 Edition.
