Seven Feathers Casino RV Resort in Umpqua Indian Tribal Land, OR

Aloha Everyone,

Our first stop in Oregon was at Medford where we shopped at Walmart Superstore to restock our household items.

Fred Meyer, a chain of upscale supermarkets and general merchandise store was our second stop.

It took us 3 tries to find tonight's RV park. First we stopped by at the River Park RV Resort along the Rogue River. Donna and Dean remembered us from a year ago but their RC park had no vacancy.

Second, using Siri, we arrived at the RV park whose description in the Passport America directory sounded wonderful. However the reality was it was a far drive up a rough gravel road and once there, the site was too primitive for our comfort.

Third time is the charm. We followed the sign to Seven Feathers Casino Resort and discovered that it has an RV park.

The casino and RV park is located on the Umpqua Indian Tribal Land in Canyonville, OR.

Debbie, at the reception desk told us that the RV park opened just 7 years ago. Professionally landscaped and very well maintained, it is one of the nicest RV parks we've stayed.

Some of the amenities include valet escort to our camping site, indoor heated pool and hot tub, fitness center and free shuttle to the casino about 1/2 mile away and to downtown shopping district.

Valet escort:

Fire ring for guests

Private free shuttle service

Clean and spacious individual bathroom with shower

Children's playground

For $36 per night with casino club member discount, we are very happy with our choice for the night. We also enjoyed dining at the casino restaurant even we don't gamble.
