UBC Museum of Anthropology, Capilano Suspension Bridge, and Getting Together with Ko

Aloha Everyone,

This morning J.J. and I walked to the UBC (University of British Columbia). We stopped by at the Nitobe Memorial Garden.

The Museum of Anthropology (MOA) has over 40,000 ethnographic objects from almost every part of the world. It is a very impressive and interesting museum. I can spend a month there.

We took a detour to the Rose Garden of UBC as we walked back to meet with Tony & Marissa.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park was packed with visitors.

Tony took J.J. on the suspension bridges spanning from tree to tree over 239 feet above Capilano Canyon.

Marissa and I went on the ridge walk.

We have known Ko and his parents since he was a small child. He works as a ski and snowboard instructor in Whistler. It was delightful reunion over delicious dinner at Tony and Marissa's home.

Lamb shank, vegan salad, salmon spring rolls plus side dishes were all sumptuous. My favorite was the dessert artfully presented and it tasted even better than it looks.

Aloha -- Cathi
