Reunion with Diane

Aloha Everyone,

This is the 6th time J.J. and I get together with Diane in the last 4 years. It is truly incredible that our rendezvous have taken place in Texas, Colorado and now Arizona.

When Diane found out that we were in Phoenix, she decided to drive from north of Casa Grande, her current RV domicile, to visit us.

Diane is independent, self-assured, quick witted, curious, but most of all, kind, caring and a generous friend. She and I talk frequently on the phone. Over lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Tucson, our conversation quickly moved through numerous subjects. When the server mentioned that she does not like Tucson because there is nothing to do here, we found her observation amusing.

Any city, town has stories if you look for them. Every person you meet has stories if he or she is willing to talk and if you are willing to listen.

Diane rapidly cited places she has already visited in or near Tucson including Florence Historical museum, Sabino Canyon and the Desert museum. J.J. and I tend to regard Tucson as a convenient place to stop in between our next leg of travel. We seem always to be on the go or preparing to move-on. We need to allocate a few day to experience some of the activities Diane mentioned.

Aloha -- Cathi
