Letters to Our Granddaughter

Aloha Everyone,

Our granddaughter is excited about going on a weeklong camping trip to Big Bear with her class. The parents are encouraged to write letter(s) to their children. J.J. and I assume that for some parents and their children, this may be their first such experience spending a week camping.

What a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about nature, about our planet, about humanity and about themselves.

I included a couple of my favorite quotes to my illustrated letters.

“Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.”
— Albert Einstein

“Keep close to Nature's heart... and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.”
—John Muir
